We had a list of girls names we loved but nothing really on the boy list. Of course we have just found out we are having a boy!
We seem to prefer shorter names and nothing too out there but ideally not overly popular either. Surname begins Ell (which means some names we like don't sound right like anything with an L in the middle or ending in 'i' sounds) and is 3 syllable which is why I think shorter names sound better.
So far the only ones we agree on but neither of us absolutely love are Luke, Adam, Ryan (but this is DH brother so don't want to go with this) and Nathan (but hate it being shortened to Nate)
