@Pencilvester but why would I go for Dylan, I'm not Welsh? We're Irish.

Ciaran by a country mile.

Pencilvester · 13/03/2017 09:36

All Dylans are Welsh, now, are they? OK.

Buxton45 · 13/03/2017 09:48

@Pencilvester no Hmm but when I'm Irish and there's an Irish spelling, why would we go for the Welsh? Confused

Definitely Ciaran from me. I think it's a lovely name, and that's how I would spell it! Anyway I grew up with three common names (first, middle, surname) all of which are commonly spelt in two different ways. It's not that much of a hassle to tell people which one you are.

Ciaran

Ciaran is nice but i prefer it spelt with the fada ' which is a pain to explain. Also be prepared to be constantly saying 'with a c' so it gets spelt correctly.

Dillon is ok but prefer the spelling Dylan.

Ciaran.

Dylan is lovely but I don't like the Irish spelling.
