Not a fan of either tbh

katienana · 11/03/2017 22:38

Edmund is a much more classic name.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/03/2017 22:40

Would you consider Edward? Or James?

Not keen on Edmund or Hayden, sorry OP.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 11/03/2017 22:42

Edmund James. Hayden James doesn't flow nicely. I prefer just James.

Pmurt · 11/03/2017 22:43

Edmund

BigBrownEyes25 · 11/03/2017 22:43

James has to be the middle name Smile we don't like Edward as much, unfortunately!

Sophronia · 11/03/2017 23:01

Edmund James

OrlandaFuriosa · 11/03/2017 23:08

Edmund

Or Edward?
Edwin?
Edgar?

Not Hayden

ChippieBeanAndHorro · 11/03/2017 23:17

Edmund James is lovely :)

But Hayden James is fabulous. It does remind me a bit of Jayden/Jaydin etc. But it's a lovely classic :)!

IMurderedStampyLongnose · 11/03/2017 23:23

Not Haydn please,Haydn is the big fat perv that works in my finance department, sorry.

nursebickypegs · 11/03/2017 23:56

Hayden, Kayden, Jaiden, Shaiden... nope.

Pigeonpost · 12/03/2017 00:02

I worked with an utter twat called Edmund. So no. Edgar though, yes!!!

saltyshoes · 12/03/2017 00:05

I like Hayden. What about Holden?

KoalaDownUnder · 12/03/2017 01:59

Edmund. Hayden is awful.

SuperBeagle · 12/03/2017 02:39

Edmund James is lovely. Smile

Please don't go with Holden. It's so reminiscent of that whiny prat from The Catcher in the Rye. The miserable turnip still makes me mad years after reading it!

ElizaDontlittle · 12/03/2017 02:57

Edmund - tho personally I prefer Edward - but Edmund is a lovely, classic, Chronicles of Narnia name.

Congratulations OP.

nursebickypegs · 12/03/2017 04:46

@SuperBeagle omg I'm so pleased someone else hates catcher in the rye! I hate holden!!!

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 12/03/2017 05:53

Hayden James is lovely.

Jooni · 12/03/2017 07:14

Definitely Edmund! Lovely name.

n0ne · 12/03/2017 07:26

I love Edmund. Hayden seems like a surname to me, or falls into the Aiden, Jayden, Kayden bracket which I don't like.

Pmurt · 12/03/2017 09:34

If you like Hayden, what about:
Hamish
Hedley
Hadley
Heath
Hector
Hunter

Wolpertinger · 12/03/2017 09:47

Edmund and Hayden are both names with strong class connotations. Edmund v differently to Hayden.

Obvs if you like them, you can do what you want, and social class and assumptions are just forms of prejudice - but they sound on the page like children from 2 completely different families.

ChippieBeanAndHorro · 12/03/2017 09:54

Heath, Hector and Holden are gorgoeus suggestions! I personally think these are simply fabulous :)

I prefer them to Edmund. Edmund is currently the slightly less popular but still trendy cousin of Edward.
