Moses is nice! Max is lovely, but yes maybe too popular for you.

I'm not personally a fan of Mac but it does go well with Miles.

Try the Welsh version? Macsen. Can be Macs (Max) as a nickname.

Mac- very cool, not overused, like a lot.

Maxim- much nicer version of Maxwell/Maximilian.

I think Morgan is more of a female name in UK too.
