Hi there, looking for some inspiration please!
We have dd Aurora and have just found out we are expecting another little girl but we are really struggling with names.
My DH likes Lucy, I'm not so keen as feel its quite plain. Will have it for a middle name though!
I like the below but not in love with any of them:

Georgia
Poppy
Vivienne
Ava

Vivienne Lucy (or Luciana) is gorgeous.

I also share your love of the name Aurora.

I love the name Aurora. I think you should stick to a Disney theme - no I am not joking. Sleeping Beauty is Aurora - so you could go for Jasmine, Belle, Elsa, Ariel, Merida - just a thought.*

Briar Rose?

Love the name Aurora! I also only know one from an Italian family so maybe another Italian name?

CoraPirbright · 21/02/2017 19:15

Clementine
Evangeline
Cecelia

Agree with you - Lucy is too plain to go with Aurora.

Noimagination17 · 22/02/2017 14:27

I love Stella but my DH doesn't, typical!
Think I am falling in love with Amelia but I wish it wasn't so popular and I don't like it shortened to millie either Confused
Don't like the Disney theme, pisses me off when people think she's named after sleeping beauty. Nice idea though!

The -a ending on both Georgia and Aurora is a bit rhymey to my ears. Stella seems to work though, as does Georgiana. I don't know what it is about Georgia's ending.

Amelia and Aurora are again very similar sounding, (Amelie instead would work) but having both daughters with the same initial might cause confusion with papers and post.

Luna Cecille could work and get you Lucy. Or Lucille or Luncinda as a "more substantial" Lucy.

Iris or Octavia perhaps?

SherlockPotter · 22/02/2017 14:58

Belle?

I really like the name Aurora and we considered it for DD but felt that Disney had ruined it Sad These are some of the other names we considered:

Annabel
Arabella
Celeste
Celine
Lucinda
Lucilla
Margaret
Melinda
Penelope

Abigail
Alice
Amelia
Anastasia
Celeste
Rose/Rosalind/Rosaline
Seraphina
Willow
