Twin boys / brothers Oliver and Joshua?

Not actually pregnant but hoping to be soon so just playing about with my dream names 🙈 (As you do at 1.20am when you can't sleep because you had coffee at 5pm 😩).

Would Oliver and Joshua work as twin names or for siblings? They would be Ollie and Josh day to day.
They are my 2 favourite boys names along with my sons name, would love to have 2 more boys to use them but could you have both in one family?
I find boys names soooo much harder than girls and these are pretty much the only 2 I like lol (my girls list is pretty long).

I need to sleep - I sound crazy naming non existent baby boys don't I lol

They are nice enough but a bit blah especially as twin names.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/02/2017 12:00

They do go well together though. 😀

Sapphireshadow · 15/02/2017 12:32

They're not my style but both are nice names and I think they go well together as twins or siblings.

MiniMaxi · 15/02/2017 13:15

Nice, classic and go well together Smile

Sophronia · 15/02/2017 13:50

Yes, they go well together

Montsti · 15/02/2017 16:09

They do go well together but personally I prefer Oliver & William/Benjamin/Frederick (Freddie)/Edward (Teddy)

MollyHuaCha · 15/02/2017 16:12

Nice names

Lilacpink40 · 15/02/2017 16:14

Lovely classic names.

TroysMammy · 15/02/2017 16:15

Freddie and Teddy or Fred and Ted. You wouldn't call twins William and Benjamin either as they would be called Bill and Ben. You just couldn't. I know siblings Joshua and Oliver. I think they go well together.

Lovely combination, both solid classic names.

CaipirinhasAllRound · 15/02/2017 19:01

They go together really well but I bet there are hundreds of siblings with the same combo

DramaAlpaca · 15/02/2017 21:57

My friend has an Oliver and a Joshua. Not twins though. I've always thought they go together well.

Chocolatecake12 · 15/02/2017 22:34

They go fab together, lovely names with lovely shortened versions.
My dream twin boys would be Stanley and Edward.
Already have an Olly!!
