I'm a 45 year old mum to be, 'surprise" ! (shock)
I already have three grown ups, Lucien, Charlotte and George ( I know) I need something for a girl, fairly classic, beginning with L, does anyone have any ideas? I have been through every online listing. Don't want Lysandra or Lucy or Louise.

Lisbeth? Not sure how widely known it is in England (I presume that's where you are) but was a hugely popular variant of Elisabeth in Scotland for centuries, and fairly classic.

Sorry to hear about your mum, but congratulations on the pregnancy!

What about:
Lydia
Lillian
Letitia
Leah
Leonora
Lilah
Lisa

Or would you consider using her name as a middle name? Or use your mum's middle name as the baby's name?
