Just throwing it out there that as you're in the UK (even though he'll be going to International School) maybe a name that is a nice reminder of your time in Britain?

Rhys is the only one-syllable name that comes to mind that sounds a bit like your suggestions. Would you consider that at all?

Likewise there are a few English names that I suspect might not do well in parts of America (I'm in English Canada so we hear both types). I cant quite imagine Simon or Oliver or Toby in some parts of America (could be wrong!).

Please do not underestimate the obsession of (all) 3-5 year old boys I know with paw patrol. Chase will now always be associated with that 'Chase is on the case!' will be shouted at him constantly.

I agree that Chase, equates Paw Patrol (and I'm only a Nan). However it's a nice name and any name can be picked for the next cartoon.

Every 'loser' or bully in a teen film seems to be called Chad.

Blake and Cole are lovely and sound a lot less dated.

Chase and Bryce are very 80s- have a kind of flash yuppy vibe.

Kevin and Gavjn are very 70s- very Viz magazine/bloke in the pub- Kev and Gav. Little baby Kev/Gav sounds pretty odd!

Ps. I agree, Chad is always the bully/jock/meat head in films!
