Olive sounds quite ugly. Quite heavy. Penelope is gorgous and penny very cute.

I love Olive - that was the name we picked had DS been a girl! It was also my Nanna's name who was a lovely lovely person so it only has good memories & meaning for me.

Penelope. I really don't like Olive. Just sounds a bit.... ugly. Sorry.

Penelope. We wd have chosen this gorgeous name, but coupled with our surname, it sounded like Penelope Pitstop, so we had to let the name go.

Olive is beautiful.
She may sometimes need to explain pronunciation of penelopEE. (I thought the written name was penny-lope' for years.)
Penny would be easier to deal with but it's less pretty than Olive, or even Liv, which she might also get.
