Vincent is great.

There was no Vincent in the Sopranos, was there?

Just checked. No.

AmyInTheBoonies · 01/02/2017 23:11

It's a gangsters name to me (old school British type of gangster).

I suppose it's quite cool but I wouldn't choose it.

sailawaywithme · 01/02/2017 23:25

Kidnapped It sounds like a Sopranos character, or any Italian-mafiosi kind of name.

MargaretCabbage · 01/02/2017 23:28

I love it. Would have used it but I'd already used the name on a pet. Grin

Sophronia · 02/02/2017 17:28

I like it!

n0ne · 02/02/2017 17:48

Love it, beautiful classic name. But def prefer Vince as the nn, not Vinnie.

zukiecat · 07/02/2017 13:19

Not for me

Vincent/Vince/Vinnie just sound too gangster to me

Always think of the Krays when I hear that name

Pemba · 07/02/2017 13:46

Not great really. Seems to be becoming popular, on MN at least, but I don't really get the appeal.

GinIsIn · 07/02/2017 13:53

I like it. It makes me think of the Don McLean song, which is a beautiful song. It is, however about suicide so maybe not the ideal connotation.

LOVE Hamish though.

ScarletSienna · 07/02/2017 13:54

I really dislike Vincent-it's quite possibly one of the names I like least ever, along with Stanley, Keith and Sidney!

Hamish, however, I love.
