Christian or Alfred (Alfie) baby name

Choosing between a selection of names at the minute, any thoughts on the above names? Thanks

Christian is a lovely solid name that sounds strong and masculine. Not overused these days.

Yeah I'm reeaaaaally over Alfie, but if you do I'm definitely pro being Alfred on the BC.
I know several Christians and it's a nice name, even though it's super obvious the religious aspect never jumps out at me. One Christian I know his parents are agnostic as far as I know.

Christian. Far more classy and timeless. Alfie is dreadful.

I like Alfred and the historical connotations.

I know several little Alfreds which would put me off. I like Christian and have never made the religious connection either.
