How would you pronounce it....Rommy or Row me??

Also what do you think of it/what vibe do you get from it?

Romy is definitely on the list now, dh is even on board!

I know one, pronounced row-me. It's short for Romily.

I'm even thinking of middle names now....

She's only known as Romy though, full name is only on her birth certificate. We pronounce it row me. It's a really unusual name where we live.

I have a Romy - we pronounce it to rhyme with Tommy. I have known 2 others who pronounce it the same. She does sometimes get called "Rowme" but no big deal (I assume because of the film). I named her after Romy Schneider the actress - I always liked it and thought it was unusual and quirky (and my dd is that!)

Row-me. I have the most gorgeous 19 year old niece Romy, so obviously biased, but love the name.
