Violet.

Stella is fantastic name classic yet unusual. Violet to me sounds like a harsher sounding person.... don't know why...

HandbagCrab · 18/01/2017 19:46

I like both. I also like Estella and Violetta for a slight variation

Jasperthedog · 18/01/2017 19:54

Stella is wonderful. Don't like Violet.

rainbow99 · 18/01/2017 20:57

Violet. As someone else has said, Stella seems really dated and middle aged woman to me

DarkLikeVader · 18/01/2017 21:01

Love Stella!

Junebugjr · 18/01/2017 21:04

We have a Violet, I loved Stella as well, but because of the booze connotations we didn't go for it.
Estella is also lovely and similar.

Roseandbee · 18/01/2017 21:08

Well I considered violet if I had two girls so that's my vote

Deadsouls · 18/01/2017 21:09

Stella

WaitrosePigeon · 18/01/2017 23:33

I absolutely love both of these names.

Cami12 · 18/01/2017 23:57

Really like both. As pp said, Stella is fiestier and Violet is prettier. Can't go wrong with either.

Pemba · 19/01/2017 00:36

Stella is so much nicer, and means star, how could anyone dislike it?

Whereas Violet, doesn't have a nice sound, (although nice meaning) and IMO is one of the current crop of trendy 'old people' names, which will date. Viola is nicer.

Joeybee · 23/01/2017 00:24

Really don't like Stella, it sounds so dated. Violet is nice.

Stella
