BEAUtiful, totally on my list!

iknowimcoming · 14/01/2017 12:13

Love it!

TenThousandSpoons · 14/01/2017 12:15

Love it! Was on my list but didn't use it. DD now has lovely hazel eyes and is keen to add it as a middle name.

harderandharder2breathe · 14/01/2017 13:01

Lovely name

tessiebear4 · 14/01/2017 13:02

Every Hazel I have known has been completely lovely, but I do agree it sounds frumpy

PiggyPlumPie · 14/01/2017 13:04

Fabulous name mine Grin

cherrycrumblecustard · 14/01/2017 13:04

It is also one you have to be careful of as it sounds dreadful in some accents.

There isn't a "reason" why I'm not keen, but I'm not, really and I love nature names normally!

ClaryIsTheBest · 14/01/2017 13:44

I really like it.

Admittedly not my favourite nature name, but it is really nice.

onlymrsmac · 14/01/2017 13:53

Was my first name, but at 9 I decided to use my very common, boring middle name because I didn't want to be 'different' and was horribly bullied.

Regret it all the time now, wish I had been brave and used it as an adult! If I ever leave my work I will use it in my new job

MrsMeeseeks · 14/01/2017 14:59

Frumpy and witchy.

DramaAlpaca · 14/01/2017 18:50

It's lovely.

Chottie · 14/01/2017 18:53

The only Hazel I know is my auntie who is in her 70s, but she is lovely, so I am slightly biased :)

Firsttimemama2017 · 14/01/2017 18:58

Not keen! Reminds me of a middle aged woman!

Joeybee · 23/01/2017 09:14

It's a really nice name - not too popular, not too harsh, not too girly, easy to spell and pronounce. Also I can imagine it on a baby, a child, a teenager and an adult. Ticks all the boxes to me.

TeshiB · 23/01/2017 09:53

It seems an grown up name to me, I just can't imagine a baby with it, but I actually really like it.

emsyj37 · 23/01/2017 15:12

My DD2 (aged 4) is called Hazel. I love the name although it was very unusual when we chose it but has rocketed up the popularity chart since then.
