Boys names to go with Kitty

Bodypumpaddict · 08/01/2017 19:06

Our current shortlist is Otto, Jim, Arlo, Jasper.... but not sure any of them are quite right.

Know that a vintage style would work with Kitty (George, Frank etc) but it's not what we're after.

Really like Leo and Felix but it comes across as if we have a cat obsession.

Any suggestions for similar style boys names welcome please.

Thank you

I love Jim, think Jamie would work with Kitty, and Otto.

Ned
Rufus
Lucas
Toby
Tristan
Henry

I've got a Jim. It's a lovely name. He's 10 now and it's grown with him.
There aren't many Jims around either. James goes nicely too, so you could have James and Jim for short.

Foldedtshirt · 08/01/2017 19:23

Miles.

Sophronia · 08/01/2017 19:40

I like Jim too

Bodypumpaddict · 08/01/2017 19:49

Nice to get positive feedback on Jim- it is my favourite out of the list

Jasper's lovely.

Prefer Jim as a nickname for James. I actually love Jim/Jimmy, but only as a nickname (possibly Jimmy could work as a standalone, but Jim is too short).

Bodypumpaddict · 08/01/2017 19:58

Yes I'd use James (family name anyway) but call him Jim Smile

Jim is lovely- but it needs to be short for James, and he's likely to be the only one in his class which is good as the others tend to go by Jamie.
The others are okay except Jasper, which is IMO a dogs name

Threelittlerobins · 08/01/2017 20:00

The Kitty I know has a brother called Leo

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/01/2017 20:01

Go with James and Jim. IMO, you need look no further.

MrsBobDylan · 08/01/2017 20:04

Yup, Jim has it for me. Lovely combo of names.

Redactio · 08/01/2017 20:05

Cato sounds good to me.

Pluto30 · 08/01/2017 20:13

Jim is lovely then, go with that one OP. Smile

busyrascal · 08/01/2017 20:17

I think Oscar would go nicely

Bodypumpaddict · 08/01/2017 20:20

Yes Oscar is lovely- though there is a family dog called Oscar.

Feeling good about Jim - thanks for feedback everyone Smile

Cassius or Caspar?

I have a kitty and if she was a boy she was going to be Caspar. My other fav boys name was Ned or Harvey.

I had 5 girls!

BestIsWest · 08/01/2017 21:57

My grandfather had siblings called Kitty and Jim, so I think that's great.
