Oscar definitely, very cute name. I am not too keen on Bertie.

AmyInTheBoonies · 03/01/2017 16:56

Oscar is nice, it suits all ages well.

I agree that Bertie is cute and works great for a baby and an older man but i'd have to find a longer name I liked for the middle years. I think I'd choose Albert. I still prefer Oscar though.

IAmNotTheOneWhoKnocks · 03/01/2017 17:01

Oscar. Bertie is horrible.

DramaAlpaca · 03/01/2017 17:02

Oscar

MrsMeeseeks · 03/01/2017 17:20

Bertie! There are enough Oscars already.

MiniMaxi · 03/01/2017 18:08

Oscar for me but I'm biased Smile

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 03/01/2017 19:09

Oscar.

fanniboz · 04/01/2017 05:30

Really don't like Bertie, maybe fine for a squishy lovely baby but not an adult imo. So, Oscar wins by default for me

QuodPeriitPeriit · 04/01/2017 05:42

Bertie (Albert on BC for me). There are so many young Oscars around here.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 04/01/2017 10:10

Oscar by a country mile...and I'm not really a fan of the name Oscar. But Bertie is a dreadful name...I can't take it seriously.

1horatio · 04/01/2017 11:22

Not Oscar. But Bertie is a nickname. It's like Alfie or Percy...

shumway · 04/01/2017 11:27

I like Bertie. Agree about too many Oscars.

squoosh · 04/01/2017 11:32

I don't think I could yell 'BERTIE' across a busy park and not cringe a little. So it would have to be Oscar for me.

Stalingrad · 04/01/2017 12:44

I love them both but Bertie has the edge. Bertie short for Gilbert.

17caterpillars1mouse · 05/01/2017 19:13

Bertie as a nn for Cuthbert :)

SpotTheDuck · 05/01/2017 19:15

Bertie.

Oscar is very overused imo.

MollyHuaCha · 05/01/2017 19:16

Oscar

whirliebird · 05/01/2017 20:07

I love Oscar for a boy! Just wish my OH did :-/

itssquidstella · 05/01/2017 20:13

I prefer Bertie, but only as a nickname. Oscar was always my favourite name but it's just too popular these days.

I think Albert, Bertram, Robert or Gilbert are nice as long versions.

maitaimojito · 07/01/2017 15:21

Oscar. I just can't imagine a teenage or adult Bertie.

Isadora2007 · 07/01/2017 15:23

Too many oscars here and I always think "Oscar the grouch"

Love that Bertie can be short for lots of other things.
