No

MikeUniformMike · 25/12/2016 15:19

No. It doesn't look like a name and is asking for cruel nicknames.

girlelephant · 25/12/2016 15:20

I've only heard of it in regard to Tate Donavan so sounds male to me. Sorry!

Heratnumber7 · 25/12/2016 15:24

No. It's a surname: Tate & Lyle, Tate Gallery.

samcroreaper · 25/12/2016 15:27

I like it Grin

Vixxfacee · 25/12/2016 16:01

Love for a boy.

Oysterbabe · 25/12/2016 16:06

Not for a girl no.

SaltyMyDear · 25/12/2016 16:07

It's a boys name.

hoddtastic · 25/12/2016 16:08

There are some really lovely girls names, why not try one of those?

FlappyRose · 25/12/2016 16:08

It's awful, sorry.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 25/12/2016 16:09

Britain or Modern?

ageingrunner · 25/12/2016 16:30

I knew a dog called Tate, short for Tatum

MothershipG · 25/12/2016 16:33

I like it.

But don't expect to get a positive response on here. GrinGrinGrin

Crumbs1 · 25/12/2016 16:33

Like an art gallery?

expatinscotland · 25/12/2016 16:52

No.

SausageSoda · 25/12/2016 18:06

I like it as a male name but not for a girl.

Lilacpink40 · 25/12/2016 18:06

No

ViewBasket · 25/12/2016 19:25

It's slang for potato.

IAmNotTheOneWhoKnocks · 25/12/2016 20:33

I think of the gallery too.

Not a fan at all.

Jigglealltheway · 25/12/2016 20:33

Awful, it's a boy's names and a really ugly name to give a little girl!

Crabbo · 25/12/2016 21:25

I love it! Definitely not just a boys name, it's unisex.

Horsegirl1 · 25/12/2016 21:33

My maiden surname was Tate so it's a definite no no for me. Also Tate is a boys name

Pluto30 · 25/12/2016 23:12

It reminds me of Sharon Tate, which is a very sad association.

howtheheckdoidealwiththis · 25/12/2016 23:31

No don't like it. Sorry. How about...

Tattie as nn for Tatiana?

Tara?
Tess?

JudgeJudySheidlin · 25/12/2016 23:48

Prefer it for a boy but why not for a girl? Don't mind it at all. I'll be in the minority on here though
