I like the name that's pronounced eve-a-leen

How would you spell it?

I like the spelling Eveline but would personally pronounce that as Ever-line

Ev-a-Lynn. Why not Evelyn if you like that name??

ScruffyTheJanitor · 23/12/2016 13:52

ever-line

LucyLocketLostIt · 23/12/2016 14:21

I would pronounce Everline as ever-line.

I think the pronunciation you like is commonly spelt Evelyn?

raviolidreaming · 23/12/2016 18:37

I've never known an eve-a-leen pronunciation. Eve-a-Lynn or ever-Lynn.

RachelRagged · 23/12/2016 18:43

I would say it as Ever line

Sophronia · 23/12/2016 19:01

I'd say it as ev-ah-LEEN

NapQueen · 23/12/2016 19:02

I say Ev-Lin

cherrycrumblecustard · 23/12/2016 19:04

It's such a pretty name. I prefer Eve as a diminutive to Evie, I think.

Pluto30 · 23/12/2016 21:15

I'd pronounce Eveline as ev-ah-LEEN.

Evelina is ev-ah-LEEN-ah, so it makes sense.

DramaAlpaca · 23/12/2016 21:26

I'd pronounce it EV-a-leen.

Sparrowlegs248 · 23/12/2016 21:40

Ever Lynn.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone pronounce either spelling with leen at the end though.

Ever Lynn or eve Lynn.

Purplebluebird · 23/12/2016 21:41

I would say Evaleene for it. Maybe Eva-Linn or Eva-Lynn would be options?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 23/12/2016 21:42

Everleen

Thelastusername · 23/12/2016 21:43

Ehv-leen.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 23/12/2016 21:43

It reminds me of Evil-Lin from He Man a bit.

pklme · 23/12/2016 21:44

What about Eva-Lynne?

Hushabyelullaby · 23/12/2016 21:46

I say Ever-Lynn, unless someone introduces themselves as Eva-Lynn (I have never heard either name said with 'leen' at the end)

glitterandtinsel · 23/12/2016 21:48

Eev Lin
I love it.

MoonHare · 23/12/2016 21:54

Ever-leen

OublietteBravo · 23/12/2016 21:56

Ev-leen

lucieloos · 23/12/2016 22:58

Another Ever-Leen

Buttercupsandaisies · 23/12/2016 23:30

I'd say ever- lin

As in jasmine - Jas-min. Same ending

hoddtastic · 23/12/2016 23:31

ever-lean, it's my aunts name.

Buttercupsandaisies · 23/12/2016 23:31

How does the spelling lend itself to leen? 'Line' spelling doesn't ever sound as leen does it?

hoddtastic · 23/12/2016 23:32

evangeline?

Angelina?
