Middle name for Rex

We're having a boy a pretty certain we are calling him Rex (know some will think of a dog but dogs are called all sorts these days and we love the name!). Our surname is two syllables beginning with A-any suggestions for a middle name?

Rex Benjamin was my first thought. Or do you have a longer maiden name or mothers maiden name you could utilise?

Rex Benjamin seems popular! Like the idea of mother's maiden name but doesn't really work unfortunately.

I like Rex Alexander, Rex Barnaby and Rex Rafferty best. I think Rex Barnaby is the best mix of cool and cute, spiky and cuddly

Just make sure you look at his initials.
Our DS is RC Cocker and always says it's arsey 🙄 and we shouldn't have used then C

Great names OP, personally wouldn't go with first and middle with same first letters, like Barnaby and Elliot from your list otherwise-

From your shortlist I would say Rex Elliot. Rex Alexander just feels a bit odd to me because some Alexanders are knows as Lex, so he'd be Rex Lex (this may just be me)! Rex Xavier to me looks like you're a bit obsessive about the letter x. Rex Rafferty is a bit Scooby Doo too (IMO). Rex Aaron works. Can I again suggest Rex William though as he'd be 'King and Conqueror'!
