We have Dean Finnegan, Leia Megan and Heidi Matilda.
Leia and Heidi are our twins. Am very surprised to be expecting which I was why I wanted help picking a name. I love that Dean, Leia and Heidi have names that are unusual but known. Has anybody got experience of four children and what it's like?
Boys names we like atm are: Nolan Xavier, Beau Tatum, Beau Theodore, Gus David, Dax Austin, Kit Dominic, Austin Dax or Roman Theodore.
Girls names we like atm are: Cora Wren, Maren Stella, Ivy Delilah, Tess Valentina, Shay Saskia, Amy Delilah, Abbey Juliet or Ciara Delaney.

Why are all of your first and middle name options different? Like Ivy Delilah and Tess Valentina? Why can't Ivy go with Valentina and Tess go with Delilah?

It just seems like you're making things really hard for yourself. Would it be better to at least focus your mind on one middle name, say, and then think which first names go nicely with that (or vice versa)?

Because, I like certain middle names better with certain first names. For example to me, Ivy Valentina would run together as the V's are too much. If you really want just pick your favourite first and middle name.

The boys name I like best is Roman Theodore. I really love Roman.

Second, I like Austin, but I'm not keen on Dax. Dash or Dashiell would be nice.

My favourite of your girls names is Ivy Delilah, followed by Abbey Juliet. My concern with Ivy would be that it's rapidly jumping up the popularity charts and I wouldn't be surprised if it cracks the top 10 in the near future. Here in Australia, Ivy is the 15th most popular name at the moment, and rising. So, by default, I'd choose Abbey Juliet, but I'd pick the spelling Abby because Abbey is often associated with Catholicism.

I love the name Theodore- that was on our name list. I also love Kitt. We also had Otto on our list which I adore.

I chose Abbey because I dislike the spelling of Abby/Abbie and feel it is more of a full name.

Kit Dominic and Maren Stella are my favourites. I've got 4dc (11,6,3 and 2) it's chaos and knackering but lots of fun, especially at this time of year

Girls - Ivy Delilah & Cora Wren. I like Maren & Tess but I don't like the middle names you've paired them with and don't think they go well with Stella or Valentina.

Boys - Gus & Theodore (even though you haven't put Theodore as a first name choice).

You asked about big families...
Big families can be lovely. For me, let it be about everyone helping each other and looking after the person who needs it most. Don't let it be about being equal/fair. M and D can't be the source of everything or as families get bigger, there is less to go round. So kids have to help each other and be generous with each other.
I was accidentally blessed with a year when I had six children, four of them with additional/special needs, and my most precious moments were when eldest two snuggled up on sofa with middle two watching tatty telly to comfort them after some emotional disaster or another, leaving me to look after youngest two and cook tea.
My DSis had a large family and ran herself ragged making sure everyone had the same. Her kids count and compare everything. Mine are happier.

And isn't Shay a boy's name? I know Shays who are all boys in their teens.
