I like it but prefer Alessia, Alessandra or Alyssa

I really like it, however prefer it spelt Alyssa.

I would pronounce the 'less' part as if it rhymed with 'tess' so thought it was different to alyssa?

It's a name which people are unsure what the pronunciation is. Which is a pain if it is your name.

I'm not keen- the other variations are nicer imo.

I know a little Alessa and although I hadn't heard of the name before I met her, I like it. No one has pronounced it incorrectly as far as I know.
