A brother for Bennett

We have a Bennett already. What we love about the name is that it's uncommon but easy enough to spell and it has a 'normal ' nickname (Ben) if he wants to use it. No 2 on the way and we are not going to find out the sex, but already have a girls name. Can't find any boys names that either fit the same rules or go with Bennett. Do like Ezra but we are not Jewish and willem but we are not Dutch. Also like Nate as a nickname but don't like Nathan or Nathaniel and prefer something that can be shortened. Any ideas?!

I was going to suggest Franklin as it fits all your criteria, but I see it's already been suggested! It's my boy's name and it really suits him.

smashyourglasses · 06/12/2016 19:55

What's his first name going to be?

Middleoftheroad · 06/12/2016 19:56

Tony?
Xmas Grin

Also, what about Calvin? Could be shortened to vinnie.

Willoughby is a great one but people will think you are Austen fans

People will think you are This Morning fans, more likely!

With Bennett I love Franklin nn. Frankie and Archer nn. Archie.

LarrytheCucumber · 09/12/2016 06:03

Only Bennett I have known had a brother called Aaron.
Do they have to 'go'. I know a family of four where none of the names seem to go, or follow a theme, but now they are all adults it doesn't matter anyway
I think the parents just chose the names they liked at the time.

Met a Franklin yesterday, was really cute. And I love frank. It's on the list.
