Sophia and Amelie both pretty names - just beware they are VERY popular. I think Jessica is an 80s/90s name, but it's nice. Valentina is OK but would get shortened to Val or Tina which doesn't sound right for a little girl, to me. And Scarlett I personally dislike. Apart from people shortening it to Scar, I don't generally like new names - but that's just my taste, so if you love it, use it!

Valentina is my favourite, with Jessica a close second.

Sophia has been extremely popular recently as has Amelie.

I love Valentina. And it is unlikely that there will be others in her class.

Second choice Jessica

I think Amelie, Sophia and Scarlett are all massively popular now there will be at least one other if not more than one in her class, but they are all pleasant names

Sophia is beautiful. Also like Jessica and Amelie.

Valentina is not really to my taste and really dislike Scarlett.

Valentina by far! I know two lovely Valentina's (one is Italian in her 20s and the other is 8 years old). Both of them are calls by their full names.

Jessica would be my second choice - it was v popular a few years ago, but doesn't seem to be so much now.

The other three names are too common for my liking - they are lovely names, but I know so many Sophia's and Amelie's

I'd choose Valentina though, purely because of Sophia's popularity.

I don't like Jessica at all, and don't care much for Amelie.

Sophia and Jessica top by far- both beautiful, feminine but punchy (as in not twee) names.

I have a teenage Jessica. She gets Jess from her friends and Jessie by me :)
I love it. Great nn potential, suits a child, teen and adult, it's pretty and feminine without being frilly.
I also like Valentina a lot from your list.

Jessica and Sophia are such pretty names. Jess or Jessy are cute nicknames for Jessica.

I'm not so keen on Scarlett or Valentina to be honest. Amelie is nice but will get confused with Emily a lot which I think will be really annoying!
