We keep going round the houses with names! I'm not convinced with any of them TBH so any alternatives welcome!

Joseph
Arthur
Oscar
Edward

Joseph for me, but only if you like Joe.

Daniel
Robert
Thomas
Alexander
George

I love Joseph and Joe. Oscar is cute but very popular. I'm not keen on Arthur at all, just makes me think of eastenders, and in my mind Edwards are a bit thick and posh... (I am SURE they aren't but this is the image that immediately comes to mind). What about George? Or Henry?

BikeRunSki · 30/11/2016 21:12

I quite like Arthur and Edward

Anthony
Frederick
Stanley
Matthew
Jonathan

Allalonenow · 30/11/2016 21:12

Arthur by a very long way, also like the nn Art, Artie.

Oscar is my least favourite, not at all to my taste.

BonusNewt · 30/11/2016 21:14

I wanted Edward (Ted) for DS but DH vetoed. After that I would say Arthur, Joseph, Oscar, in that order.

SusanTrinder · 30/11/2016 21:22

Arthur or Edward.

Both truly great names!

sj257 · 30/11/2016 21:23

Joseph

rainbow99 · 30/11/2016 21:46

Edward or Joseph, really dislike Oscar and Arthur

CocoaX · 30/11/2016 21:47

Joseph or Edward

Schmoochypoos · 30/11/2016 21:51

Love them all apart from Oscar.

Mummymummymummyhi · 30/11/2016 21:57

How about Rupert? Or Roo for short?

SassyPants19 · 30/11/2016 22:00

How about...

Harvey
Rupert
Jeremy
Hugh
Charlie

I've always loved them!

Jooni · 30/11/2016 22:01

I really like Oscar. It is very popular but starting to go down in popularity slightly now, and it feels less trendy-posh than Arthur (lots of yummy mummies with Arthurs round my way at the moment).

Don't get me wrong, I really like Arthur too but I just think Oscar is lovely - strong, sturdy and unpretentious. Edward too (Teddy!) I'm least keen on Joseph.

How about Caspar? Ivor? Tobias? Henry?

Alyx80 · 30/11/2016 22:03

Oscar or Arthur

Sophronia · 30/11/2016 22:13

Joseph

Pluto30 · 30/11/2016 23:00

I love them all. Shock They've all been on my list at some point.

In order of favourite to least favourite:

  1. Edward (because I love the nickname Ned, but also like Ed and Eddie)
  1. Joseph (love the nickname Joe, and this one is particularly uncommon where I live - I don't know any Josephs personally!)
  1. Oscar
  1. Arthur
BlackNo1 · 30/11/2016 23:08

Arthur & Edward.
I hear a lot of Josephs and Oscars. - good names but overused imo.

Alexander/Xander would be my suggestion. I didn't get to use them from my list.

OhTheRoses · 30/11/2016 23:14

Love Edward, Arthur and Oscar. I have one of those and two were on shortlist for next baby but was a girl. Mine are grown up now.

CakeRattleandRoll · 30/11/2016 23:28

I really like them all. Favourite is Edward.

ViewBasket · 30/11/2016 23:32

I like Edward and Joseph, both excellent classic names.

Arthur is OK but a bit fusty. Unlike Jooni above, I think of Oscar as pretentious TBH.

Jemimapuddleduk · 01/12/2016 12:21

Arthur for sure.

Bellaposy · 01/12/2016 12:25

Love Arthur and Edward although the latter is VERY common near me with nickname Ted/Teddy.

KlingybunFistelvase · 01/12/2016 14:43

Arthur and Oscar are lovely! I also like Edward. Not overly keen on Joseph but it's nice enough.

How about:

Theodore
Benedict
Sebastian
Felix
