Both lovely. I think Emma is my personal favourite as quite a few Emilias around.

Emila is lovely but will always be misspelt as Amelia.

I have an Emma (we needed one less syllable due to complicated surname). I prefer Emma now anyhow.

Gruffalosfriend · 28/11/2016 15:24

Emilia/Amelia/Emily are SO popular these days that Emma actually makes a refreshing change.

The Emilia/Amelia thing would bother me... they are both so common round here.

Emma is a classic and lovely

Another vote for Emma!

SeashellHoarder · 28/11/2016 19:51

(Just to add to the chorus)

I know of an Emilia/poss Amelia whose nickname is Emmie. Just throwing it into the mix as nicknames need to be taken into consideration.
