Do you think it's tacky to use princess as a middle name ? I would use it as a first name but dp won't have it .. see previous thread julia alicia rose is an option and Lilly rose . But now I'm thinking julia princess Alicia rose or same with Lilly as I really would love to include it somewhere if I'm not allowed to use it as a first name ..I also love julia winter rose but mad struck on princess being used somewhere !

I think amira means princess

Amira Rose?

Asuitablemum · 22/11/2016 21:32

I like winter rose. I really don't like princess. Beyond it not being a name, I have an unfair expectation that a 'princess' would be spoilt, unexceptional academically and bratty. Don't know why I just do. If you want to use an unusual word that describes how you feel about your daughter , I think adorabelle, cherished, precious, joy etc whilst not to my personal taste, would be much better.

Your other names, like Julia and Alicia, are lovely. Please don't ruin it by sticking Princess in there. It's tacky.

KERALA1 · 22/11/2016 22:36

Keep it as a nickname within the family. She will thank you later

Bellaposy · 22/11/2016 22:39

So, so bad. So bad. Your daughter wouldn't thank you for it.

rainbow99 · 22/11/2016 23:23

In answer to your original question, yes it's tacky, very tacky. Sorry!

MyWineTime · 22/11/2016 23:37

No, it's bloody awful!
Don't do it.

Another vote for Julia Winter Rose! If she'll be a winter baby, ideally

BastardGoDarkly · 23/11/2016 14:52

Hell no to princess, anywhere, but winter rose is really lovely as a middle name :)
