Thoughts? We really love Justin. If not, what about Austin?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PipersPiping · 18/11/2016 19:19

My nephew is austin, i much prefer that to justin.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 18/11/2016 19:19

Thumbs up from me.

crayfish · 18/11/2016 19:19

Both are fine, but Austin is a touch cooler and more modern to my ear.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 18/11/2016 19:19

Austin is much better than Justin in my opinion.

lightupowl · 18/11/2016 19:21

Justin = Mr Tumble, Justin's House etc.
But I prefer it to Austin, personally.

Eminybob · 18/11/2016 19:22

I knew a few Justin's when I was growing up, they inevitably got the Justin time joke.

Now I associate it with that bloody CBeebies guy.

My friend has a 2 year old Austin and I think it's much more modern and pleasing to the ear.

Poppiesway · 18/11/2016 19:24

I like Justin. My dm wanted it for my db but df kept saying Justin case Justin time etc..

There's quite a few austins in ds school ATM

TheNaze73 · 18/11/2016 19:25

Austin, I think rugby & Austin Healey. Great name.
Never lived the name Justin

Joinourclub · 18/11/2016 19:26

Justin's house is the first thing that springs to my mind , as I'm the parent of a pre schooler! And then Justin time.

Sophronia · 18/11/2016 19:42

I like both, I think Justin is more unusual at the moment

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 18/11/2016 19:48

I prefer Austin.

Normandy144 · 18/11/2016 19:51

I like it, and it hasn't done Justin Trudeau (the Canadian PM) any harm.

Pluto30 · 18/11/2016 20:50

Justin's outdated.

Austin is contemporary, and is much nicer in general/

Thatwaslulu · 18/11/2016 20:51

I know someone called Justin Love... it depends on the surname. Austin is cooler.

Thirtyrock39 · 18/11/2016 20:52

I prefer Justin to Austin as there are loads of Austins in my sons year...what about Dustin??

SausageSoda · 18/11/2016 20:54

It always reminds me of the following 'joke'

Q What do you call a man with a small penis?
A Justin (just-in)

Raines100 · 18/11/2016 20:57

Sausage got there first...

DramaAlpaca · 18/11/2016 20:59

Justin sounds very dated to me, but Austin is awesome.

CaoNiMa · 18/11/2016 21:04

I heard an apocryphal tale of a guy named Justin Syder. That's all I think of when I hear Justin now!

buttercup54321 · 18/11/2016 21:09

Prefer Justin. He will need to have a sense of humour though for all the old jokes, I don't like Austin, What about Ashton instead?

rainbow99 · 18/11/2016 23:39

I much prefer Austin

phoebe2016 · 19/11/2016 19:31

Everytime i hear the name Justin, i think....and no further..lol

Spotsondots · 26/11/2016 22:30

Q What do you call a man with a small penis?

This. Went to school with a Justin who got this. All. The. Time.

BlueChampagne · 26/11/2016 23:06

Prefer Justin. Justinian if you want to be a bit different. Cbeebies's Justin's reign will end (and he's not a bad role model). Bieber seems to have rocked it ....

Myusernameisalreadyinuse · 26/11/2016 23:10

I like Justin actually but immediately thought of cbeebies' Justin Fletcher. But if I knew a Justin I don't think I'd always be thinking 'cbeebies'!
