Hello! Our little boy doesn't have a name.

I love Isaac, but DH hates it. He likes Oliver, but I don't want a name that will obviously get a known NN. I don't mind shortenings, but not NNs, so Ollie is out. We quite like Kieran? Thoughts on that? Any other ideas? Smile he is really cute, he has this button nose, so we are currently calling him Benjamin Button Blush is there a reason for that? Wasn't there a film or something? Grin

Benjamin Button was a film about a person (brad Pitt) that aged in reverse.

What's wrong with Benjamin?

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 17/11/2016 20:49

Congratulations!

How does Benjamin sound? Does it suit him?

A friend of mine with an Oliver & an Isaac also has a Jacob. Is that any good?

I do like Kieran - although it is one of those names that people often misspell. Would that annoy you?

OhTheRoses · 17/11/2016 20:51

Well Isaac shortens to Zak. I like olliver and Isaac. - much more than Kieran. What about Oscar?

NamelessSon · 17/11/2016 20:53

Yeah, but I feel like Zac isn't what people will automatically go for. I like Jacob and Oscar!

I'm not sure on Benjamin... I don't know if it suits him.

You seemed to have named him it already though. Benjamin is a good name, Ben too.

I love Benjamin! It was on my list of boy names Smile.

If you like Kieran how about Aidan? Both Irish, with a similar ring. Means little fire. Or Liam?

Congratulations op!

You say you like Jacob and Oscar, why not one of those?

beckslovestimmy · 18/11/2016 07:44

It took us nearly 2 weeks to name our son. We went with Benjamin but still weren't sure. I can't imagine him being anything else now. He's mainly called Benny and it definitely suits him.
