We like Ben/Benny too, so no issues with potential NNs.

Thoughts on Benjamin?

Love it! But I'm biased Smile

Kim82 · 16/11/2016 16:34

I have a 15 year old Ben but he is just Ben, not Benjamin. I'm not keen on the full version for some reason but couldn't tell you why.

JustGettingStarted · 16/11/2016 16:35

I like it!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 16/11/2016 16:36

It's lovely. So is Benedict.

20yrsago · 16/11/2016 16:36

SpaceDinosaur · 16/11/2016 18:23

I love it but I married one! Grin

ApocalypseNowt · 16/11/2016 18:25

I know quite a few if that matters to you at all.

Have to say i'm not keen on it...not sure why but i always think it sounds a bit wet?

Smartleatherbag · 16/11/2016 18:26

Lovely name, with nice nicknames too.

JustSpeakSense · 16/11/2016 18:33

I love it Smile

badhotfanny · 16/11/2016 18:38

It was our chose name, but no boys here.

roseteapot101 · 16/11/2016 18:54

Benjamin is lovely

DakotaFanny · 16/11/2016 18:55

Love it! Classic but cool.

ImSoUnoriginal · 16/11/2016 18:59

My brothers name. Was always known as Ben. Was v popular when I was a kid but might be less so now.
Nice classic name.
Also may I share the (bad) joke that he and my grandpa came up with, when he was little. Why is Benjamin like a doughnut? Because they both have jam in the middle. GrinHmm

MrsNuckyThompson · 16/11/2016 20:01

Was one of my fave names til DH's best friend pinched it for their pfb. I would say it is very popular round these parts (SW London) and for example 3.5 year old DS has two out of his 18 child kindy class. It would have been three if I had gone with it.

But it is a lovely solid name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/11/2016 20:07

Benjamin is nice, but I prefer Benedict.
Ben is great, Benny is awful.
On the whole, a great name.

user1471950254 · 16/11/2016 20:08

Love it, one of my favourite names

Sophronia · 17/11/2016 00:16

It's lovely

Buntysoven · 17/11/2016 00:48

Lovely strong name. My cousin is one and he certainly isnt wet at a strapping 6ft 4ins!

SunnyInMay · 17/11/2016 10:45

Benjamin is ok but dislike Ben.

How about Benedict?

Gruffalosfriend · 17/11/2016 11:39

I also find Ben a little dull, there are so many around. A bit like Steve, Mike or Andy for our generation - nothing offensive but just a little dull imo.

BratFarrarsPony · 17/11/2016 11:42

tbh i find Ben a bit dull and wet sounding.
