I saw it on that 4 year old program, the boy was adorable! His name was Enzo... I had never heard of it, but really like it.

Thoughts?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Is there not a sesame Street character called Enzo? It immediately made me think of that programme. But I think if you have Italian roots then it would be nice. As suggested by a PP I love the name Ezra.

My dh's cousin's son is Laurence and was called Enzo as a nick name when he was little, Laurie once he was older. I love it. Wouldn't give Enzo by itself as doesn't pass the high court justice/rock star test imo.

There's an actor called Enzo Cilenti who has the broadest Bradford accent ever - he carries it off pretty well.

WaitrosePigeon · 21/11/2016 21:33

It's incredibly naff.

sparechange · 21/11/2016 21:36

My colleague is Enzo, short for Vincenzo

If you aren't Italian, people will assume you or your DH has named your son after your favourite supercar

gerwen · 20/11/2019 05:03

Enzo will become popular now with the movie; the art of driving in the rain!

mathanxiety · 20/11/2019 05:13

You're thinking of Elmo, Cguk81

gerwen · 20/11/2019 05:55

The art of racing in the rain. Incredible movie. You will love the name Enzo after watching it!

Jj2431 · 20/11/2019 16:33

Okay name if you have Italian in your family but if not then ridiculous imo

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2019 20:31

I like it but the Enzo I know it italian by blood. I don't like Ezra,
If you like it, why not use it.

wineymummy · 21/11/2019 11:06

What about Renzo? Like the architect Renzo Piano.

CravingCheese · 22/11/2019 17:18

I like it :)

Cookit · 22/11/2019 19:47

I think it’s a lovely name. I’d be surprised if you didn’t have Italian heritage though. I know names like Luca have become pretty normal here for people without Italian heritage but Enzo isn’t one of them (yet).
Could be wrong but isn’t it also a diminutive of Enrico?
