Madison or just Maddie?

Hi, we don't like Madeleine (or any of the spellings) but love Maddie. We quite like Madison (is this the original spelling? Or is it Maddison?) so are wondering which is better (we are not asking if you like the name! Also, if it's neither, please don't comment, as that's basically saying you don't like either, we don't mind people not liking the name, but we don't want anything to put us off, as we are struggling as it is).

So Madison (Maddison?) or Maddie?

Madison.

Maddison nn Maddie. Love both the names, OP. I think maddie is better as a nn. Giving her a longer name gives her more choice about what she wants to be called. Good luck choosing!

Madison and use Maddie as a nn if wanted.

I have a Maddy... She's only Madison when she doesn't listen. Wink

Madison nn Maddie

I really like Madison - it's the name we would have chosen if DS was a girl (with one 'd'). I don't like Maddie as much, but think it's fine as a nickname.
