Johanna ??

Thoughts on Johanna? I've never really considered it before but DH parents are called John and Jean & mine are John and Jane. We thought that it might be similar enough to be a nice nod to them?

What's your preferred spelling also? Joanna? Johannah? Johanna?

Middle name suggestions? So far we have Johanna Eden & Johanna Iris.

I've posted another thread about the difficulties we have agreeing on names.

It has nice associations for me, my bridesmaids were Joanne and Joanna and they are both kind, good hearted people. I like the Joanna spelling best, it looks cleaner.

I love the Jo Hanna version. The Johanna I know pronounces it like that. More interesting than the normal British way I think.

I think it's a lovely name and I prefer the spelling Joanna.

I like but it's a name that will always need to be spelled out correctly
