Traditional but not overused names for a boy?

Trying desperately to think of a name for a baby boy and coming up with nothing.

We want something fairly traditional - something that people can spell, and we want it to be known, but not overly popular. Would prefer to avoid unusual spellings or names beginning with J.

Names we like but aren't right for us:
William (like the full name but not nicknames)
James
Edward (like the full name but not nicknames)
Thomas
Michael (like the full name but not nicknames)
Robert (like the full name but not nicknames)
Alexander

We quite like Henry. I like Paul but can't see it as a name for a "baby". Don't like Vincent.

Benjamin?

Also it is possible to never get a nickname. I have a common three syllable name (like Charlotte) that has never been shortened and there is a Michael at work that has never been a Mike.

If you like the name Paul, baby will grow into the name, and you won't be able to imagine him being anything else.
