How would you spell this name (for a girl)?

I'd assume it was Peyton, but DH assumed it was Payton, and there's a street near where we live that is spelt Payten.

I thought of Peyton from One Tree Hill. But I've heard of Peyton Manning too. I think it suits both sexes equally.

MrsGsnow18 · 30/10/2016 09:07

Peyton would be what I would assume and it's the one I like the most.

PoldarksBreeches · 30/10/2016 14:48

Why would you though? It's an awful name.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/10/2016 15:58

I'd spell it Paighton.

PoldarksBreeches · 30/10/2016 16:04

Paighton Shock
I'm really hoping that's a very obscure meta piss take

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/10/2016 16:18

Please don't spell it at all, it is a really insipid and dull little name , you can think of something much better for your baby.

I wouldn't spell it at all, it's a hideous name.

ShowOfHands · 30/10/2016 17:50

I can't hear Peyton without Flanders.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/10/2016 17:54

Is she the one in The hand that rocks the cradle

Pluto30 · 30/10/2016 19:27

Oh, we're not considering it as a name. We've already picked one. I was just curious about the spelling. Smile

It's a totally different style to the name we've picked, although I do like it nonetheless.
