Opinions? It reminds me of magic, etc. (Narnia) which I love!

The only other 'Ed' name, that I like, is Edward. Is that better? :)

Other 'magic' names, to me, are names like Phoenix, Griffin, Robin, etc.

Any other suggestions?

It's nice! As long as you are happy with it bring shortened to Ed, as even if you don't shorten it at home, all his mates will.

My DH is Edmund and he loves it. Generally known as Ed. Not unduly teased at school. He won't touch Turkish Delight but otherwise it doesn't seem to have held him back!
