Hello, our son is almost 6 weeks. We have an appointment on Thursday (to register him) and cannot change it!

We cannot agree... I know it sounds stupid :( I like: Aidan, Dylan, Elliot, Finn, Isaac, Leo and Noah. He doesn't like any, but doesn't seem to be offering any...

He suggested Brodie/Brody, I'm unsure! I think I prefer the Brodie spelling though (isn't that the original?) it doesn't remind me of that Netflix program, as I once met an amazing Brodie, which is what it makes me think of! However, I'm not keen on calling our son it...

It's really upsetting me!

Good. Blinking phone spelling

What did you name him in the end?

Place marking to find out the name.

You've clearly said you don't want to call your son Brodie, so you have to veto it. Your husband has vetoed 6 of your names. Say a definitely no to Brodie and start again, don't compromise just because it's the only one he can come up with. That's not compromise, that's him getting his #1 choice and you not even getting a name on your top 20! Start afresh.
