Sophia vs. Matilda

My DH and I are hesitating between Sophia and Matilda for our baby girl who is due by the end of November.
I like Matilda but dislike all the nicknames associated with it (although I like Millie... But this is not a common nickname for Matilda).
I also love Sophia but my husband thinks it is too popular.
What do you think?

Really dislike Matilda and although Sophia is nice, it's been hijacked by the WAGS. Sophie is nicer, or Saskia.

I like both. Why don't you just wait and see which one she suits.

I regards to Millie I think it works but id be aware that others will nickname her Tilly, Tilda etc

If it helps I have a 5 month old and we go to lots of baby groups. We know 2 Matilda's but not a single Sophie or Sophia
