Opinions please boring or workable

So we are getting closer and trying to settle on girls names.

Here is our list, what do people think. Have you any other suggestions?

Susannah
Marguerite
Eliza
Ellen
Louisa
Flora
Xanthe

My favourite is - neighbours fan here - not keen on Susannah purely because it will probably get shortened to Sue which imo is a bit meh.

I have never met a baby Susannah. I love it!

I like Susannah and Louisa best.
I quite like Marguerite although think there'd be a lifetime of mis-spellings. I think I'd like Margaret instead

Loathe Sue though. Do you think these days anyone would call a child that or would they go for things like Susie.

Ellen is a family name so considering Susannah Marguerite or Susannah Ellen

Though close family member is Susan Margaret. She is in her 40s now and has loathed both her names for ever. Even family members call her Sue which she loathes :(

She might get Sue-Ellen

Marguerite is forever spoiled for me by hearing an Australian on holiday berating her daughter all the time with that name. I just hear it a Sir Les Patterson voice.

From your list I really like Louisa.

I think a little Susannah will inevitably get Susie. Sue is a middle-aged woman. Zanna is a bit random IMO and I would probably assume a standalone name rather than a nn of Susannah, but sure people would get used to it.

I think she would get Susie which is really cute.
