user147 OK fair enough each to their own. Obv I have an Oliver / Ollie and think it's a lovely classic name - as indeed is Rob / Robert / Robbie.

Don't think I'll tell my son tge tinternet thinks is name is wet Confused

MotherDuckSaid · 22/10/2016 10:56

Really like both Full names, the nick names aren't half as nice IMO

DibbySound · 22/10/2016 11:05

Robbie definitely. I'm sure there was a Munch Bunch (?) character called Ollie the Onion and it's all I think of when I hear the name Ollie= onions.

DiegeticMuch · 22/10/2016 15:58

Is Robbie Williams still going? I didn't think that he was particularly current.

I like both names. I've never met a disagreeable Ollie or Robbie.

AndieNZ · 22/10/2016 16:13

I have an Ollie. Love both Oliver and Ollie. I also have an Alexander and love traditional names. Ollie is a strapping teenager and loves his name although uses Ollie more than Oliver. When I hear Robbie I think of footballers for some reason!

Who said Ollie sounds wet???

NotYoda · 22/10/2016 17:59

Robbie

Also like Rob

So many Olivers around (nice name though)

handonhip · 22/10/2016 18:16

Robbie/Robert.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 23/10/2016 10:08

Robert.

yesterdaysunshine · 23/10/2016 10:09

I just think Robbie Williams for Robbie so that's a no for obvious reasons! Prefer Oliver though.

BreatheDeep · 23/10/2016 19:39

Robbie Williams or Olly Murs?

FannyWincham · 24/10/2016 19:23

Robert.

Oliver / Ollie is very popular, and has been for about 15 years. There are a LOT of Ollies around.
