Currently trying to decide baby names and would love some opinions, we obviously like them all but don't know which ones we like best at the moment;

Rupert
Walter
Albert

Edith
Ivy
Pippa
Dulcie

Thank you :)

It's funny how different tastes can be isn't it? These names are all absolutely as far from my style as it's possible to get, but if I HAD to choose, I'd go with Albert and Ivy, I guess.

Ilovenannyplum · 12/10/2016 11:11

Albert and Dulcie

Edith & Walter, though I do also love Rupert
I do like Albert but that's my rabbit's name

If I had to choose from these names I'd go for Albert and Ivy.

BonusNewt · 12/10/2016 12:11

I love Bertie, so if it was me I would choose Albert and call him Bertie! Out of all the full names I prefer Walter, although I always get the Kinks song Do You Remember Walter in my head when I hear it.

With the girls names I like in order: Edith, Ivy, Dulcie, Pippa.

gammatron · 12/10/2016 12:17

Albert for a boy and Ivy or Edith for a girl, love all 3!

Saltedcaramel2016 · 12/10/2016 12:18

Albert and Ivy

Foxtato · 12/10/2016 12:37

Rupert
Ivy

Catinthecorner · 12/10/2016 12:52

Edith for a girl -love it. The other girl names are just ok to me.

I really want to like Walter, but it's a not nice nickname in military circles (which may not bother you).

paddypants13 · 12/10/2016 13:23

One of my uncles has Walter as a middle name and his army friends still call him Walt! I didn't realise it was an insult. He always said everyone was called by their most embarrassing name.

CEOD · 12/10/2016 13:32

I like Rupert and Pippa

Tarttlet · 12/10/2016 13:37

Rupert and Ivy.

Catinthecorner · 12/10/2016 14:28

Paddypants

Walt (like Disney), so for example:
'Boris is a bit of a Walt, you'd think he's saved the empire solo from the way he talks'

People who take things like airsoft too seriously are also Walt's. Pretenders.

Happilymarried155 · 12/10/2016 14:49

Thanks so much! Didn't think I'd get so much feedback :) I realise some of them aren't to everyone's taste but good to get some opinions. Will feedback to dh x

Albert and Ivy

LemonBreeland · 12/10/2016 15:30

Dulcie, not keen on any of the boys names.

ScarletSienna · 12/10/2016 18:36

Rupert and Edith.

Albert is really common at the moment where I am so I'd avoid it because of that but quite like Bertie as a nn.

Also like Ivy and Dulcie.

Gazelda · 12/10/2016 18:39

Pippa means BlowJob in Greek, apparently. Not a problem if you don't know any Greeks though.

Sophronia · 13/10/2016 12:06

Albert and Edith

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/10/2016 12:33

OP, do you like Ida ?

DerelictMyBalls · 13/10/2016 19:18

Albert and Ivy, by a country mile.
