I like it, think it's cute for a little one and yet suitably grown up for an adult

Rafe is the traditional pronunciation as in Ralph Fiennes.

I've never heard of a ralphie called raffie to me it doesn't make sense at all

Ralph always reminds me of Forever too and I'd have to veto on that basis

Rafe is how those I know pronounce it (and the traditional English way I think. Ralph Fiennes is probably the most famous example) but obviously Ralf is a pronounciation too.

I prefer the Rafe pn out of the two.
