Jude

I prefer Jacob to Jake. Dislike Jude.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 25/09/2016 17:38

Jude sounds very girly to me. I know it isn't, but that's my first reaction. Much prefer Jake or Jacob

GoNorthDarren · 25/09/2016 18:05

I prefer Jude and haven't met any at all where I live.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 25/09/2016 18:23

Like pp have said, Jude sounds a bit feminine.

I think Jake is a lovely boys' name though.

Another vote for Jude.
Jake is also nice though.

Friolero · 25/09/2016 22:10

Definitely Jude

ScarletSahara · 25/09/2016 23:19

Jude. Know so many Jakes and Jacobs so it's a well-loved name bite Jude is much nicer and I don't find it feminine sounding.

Hate Jude. Probably because all I can hear is "Hey Jude" every time I hear it and I despise the Beatles.

Jake is fine, however it's much nicer when shortened from Jacob.

CordeliaFrost · 26/09/2016 18:36

Jude.

I'm biased though, as my Jude is actually a Judah, but he goes by Jude on a daily basis.

JellyTeapot · 26/09/2016 19:16

Another vote for Jude - I only know one and he's secondary school aged (and one of the most awesome kids I know!) I've come across loads of Jake/Jacobs.

DramaAlpaca · 26/09/2016 22:01

Jude

FindingNemoFindingDory · 28/09/2016 03:09

Jake

lizzieoak · 28/09/2016 03:14

Jude as I know some Jake's who were terrible teens. Otherwise Jake is a nice name, but Jude is more interesting imp.
