Can I name DS2 Elliot? I have a William...

My William is always William. We occasionally shorten to Will, but he doesn't have a NN.

We absolutely adore the name Elliot.

Can we seriously have both though? What happens if DS1 ever wants to go by Billy?

I think you can.

If William becomes Billy - unlikely if you call him William/Will - but if he decides to use Bilky it'll be when hes much older and you will be out of the stage of shouting "Billy! Elliott! Time for tea"! I.e. It won't really matter.

FindingNemoFindingDory · 28/09/2016 14:31

Yeah, it's fine! I love both names!

chinlo · 28/09/2016 14:38

It's fine.

I mean, who would choose Billy as a name? Nobody.

FindingNemoFindingDory · 28/09/2016 14:40

Wow - that's rude, chinlo! In 2015, 534 Billys were born...

chinlo · 28/09/2016 16:45

Right, but they didn't choose it, did they? Poor souls.

Halo
FindingNemoFindingDory · 28/09/2016 16:53

There's many Billys in the world, who have decided to not change their name!

MrsJayy · 28/09/2016 16:57

FindingNemoFindingDory · 28/09/2016 16:58
