Edward or Theodore?

We like both names as they shorten to Teddy but unsure which one to go for - what are your views?

I love Theodore, but in some of the accents where I live it would become 'Feodore'. I suppose that doesn't matter if he will be using Teddy all the time. If he decides later that he prefers Theo though, it would become Fee-oh in some accents. Obviously this is totally irrelevant if you don't have those accents where you live.
