If I like Axl for a boy...

What names would be good for a girl?

Purely hypothetical as I'm not even pregnant yet. But for my DD we chose a name which is very girly and popular and I hate it now.

If I had another girl I'd want a strong name something fairly unique but not unheard of.

Help me?

I wish I'd have thought more about my dds name. She's Molly. It does suit her to a T, but. If I had to name her again. I wouldn't choose Molly is a billion years.
Hypothetical name suggestions. If you're looking for something unique I'd think along the lines of
Jennifer
Catherine
Amanda
Laura
Melissa
Jane.
I doubt any of them are in the top 100.

Iliveinalighthouse: that's exactly how I feel about my dds name. I'd never choose it again. Tbh it was a bit of a compromise as DH likes classic names it was the one I disliked least.

The kind of names I like (but DH hates) are: Wren, Juno, Roxy and Willow.

If you like strong names like Axl I'd say
Roxanne/ Roxana
Alexis
Saffron
Rose Wink

I did suggest Axl-Rose as s girls name... Apparently my obsession is getting annoying. DH just doesn't get me at all!

If your husband loves really tradtional names then I think you might need to compromise slightly from names like Wren, Juno and Axl-Rose.

Perhaps a longer, more "feminine" name but still something with a bit of zip to it:

Zinnia
Azalea
Ramona
Anoushka
Beatrix
Paloma
Margot

Or a more traditional name with a funky nickname:

Katherine "Kit"
Helena/Eleanor "Nell"
Clara/Chloe "Cleo" or "Coco"
Louisa "Lulu"
Rosanna "Roxy" or "Ro"
Beatrix "Trixie"
Vivienne "Vivi"
Cecily "Cece"

Or maybe he might like a less "out there" short, funky name:

Luna
Cleo
Stella
Cora
Jude
Hetty
Astrid
Zara
Olive
Pippa
