Romilly. Or maybe Susanna? Am not v. keen on Savannah because I don't really like place names used as people's names. But that could just be me.

SellFridges · 04/09/2016 20:30

My Romilly is 5.5 now and I don't think it's shifted much in the charts since we named her.

We envisaged she would be a Romy which may still play out I think. She sometimes gets Rom now. Our theory was if she wanted something more mainstream she could shorten it to Milly.

Much prefer Romilly. But that may be because the only Savannah I know is a disguised thug in a Boden dress who has a good line in bitching and kicking off at the school gates she's the parent not the child!!

manicinsomniac · 04/09/2016 21:02

I love them both.

I have a Savannah and don't know any others. But I've also only ever met one Romilly. It's definitely more popular than Savannah on here though. In fact it's nice to read any positive comments for Savannah at all, it usually gets negative feedback.

Romily

katemess12 · 04/09/2016 21:28

Going against the grain, but I can't stand the name Romilly. I like Savannah.

Mojito6 · 04/09/2016 21:53

I like savannah beautiful name

RiverTam · 04/09/2016 21:56

I like Romilly but I think if you've loved Savannah for all those years and still do, then you should go for that. You're very loyal, I'm so fickle I had gone through about 20 names that I was definitely going to call my first born by the time she came along (and she didn't get called any of them!).

LunaLoveg00d · 04/09/2016 23:26

Definitely Romilly.

BagelGoesWalking · 04/09/2016 23:34

Romulo is lovely and could be shortened to Romy (pronounced Rom-ee) Friends of ours have a daughter called Romy but in another country (if that's any help at all!) Smile

BagelGoesWalking · 04/09/2016 23:34

Damn autocorrect - meant Romilly, of course

monkeygone · 04/09/2016 23:36

I really hate Romilly. It sounds like Emily gone wrong.

So by default I prefer Savannah.

ReginaBlitz · 05/09/2016 00:06

Savannah

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 05/09/2016 07:00

Ha ha Bagel, that made me chuckle ! 😄

DeltaSunrise · 05/09/2016 07:29

I'm a 30yr old Savannah and everyone compliments me on my name when they first hear it. I don't think I've ever had anyone mention the Ch word.

I like Romilly but I'd love to hear of a new baby called Savannah.
