Vixxfacee · 31/08/2016 09:00

Ivy
The H names are awful I agree with pp.

LyraMortalia · 31/08/2016 09:02

Love all three but especially Hettie, then Ivy then Hetta is Hettie a short version of Harriet?

NoahVale · 31/08/2016 09:07

I like Ivy.

have you thought of Iris?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 31/08/2016 09:09

The Hettie I know is short for Heather. I like Hettie best, Hetta is OK but I haven't heard of it before. Ivy is just not to my taste but a fine name.

babyblabber · 31/08/2016 09:10

Ivy

candykane25 · 31/08/2016 09:11

Hetty is definitely on the up, I know of two Born recently.

I like Hetta from your list.

Dayna1 · 31/08/2016 09:23

I think Ivy or Hettie, because Hetta sounds a bit ... rough for a girl imho.

AliceInHinterland · 31/08/2016 09:25

I like Hettie and Hetta - I think there is a Hetta in a Trollope novel short for Henrietta. I prefer Harriet though.

SoftSheen · 31/08/2016 09:29

Harriet or Henrietta with Hetty or Hetta as nn.

Pinklily1 · 31/08/2016 09:39

I like Ivy the best. Such a lovely name.

I haven't heart of Hetta before, and it's my least favourite of the three - I think it sounds slightly harsh.

Someone else suggested Iris - that's lovely.

MabelFurball · 31/08/2016 12:44

Never heard of Hetta. Hetty might get shortened to Het.

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 31/08/2016 12:51

Ivy for me.

I also like pps' suggestions of Henrietta and Iris though. Also, how about Hester?

TheNaze73 · 31/08/2016 12:54

They're all lovely names. Great choices op

MumiTravels · 31/08/2016 13:05

Ivy.

Not keen on Hetta.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 31/08/2016 13:11

There's a Hetta in a Trollope novel - The Way We Live Now (brilliant read!) - but it's short for Henrietta.
Why not give her the full version, and use the nn if you prefer? That would give her the option later.

I know it's a generational thing, but to me Ivy is very old lady-ish, and I'm afraid it's the type of old lady in a pinny, with rollers in her hair and a fag hanging out of her mouth.

Scarydinosaurs · 31/08/2016 13:35

Ivy and Hettie are lovely.

Francesca and Frankie might appeal too?

MrsCaecilius · 31/08/2016 14:03

I know a Hetta NMM from Henrietta. Really pretty OP!.

dailymaillazyjournos · 31/08/2016 14:49

I love Hettie. Not keen on the others

KoalaDownUnder · 31/08/2016 14:53

Ivy.

I don't like Hettie, Hetta, Harriet or Henrietta.

CakeRattleandRoll · 31/08/2016 15:11

Ivy

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 31/08/2016 22:48
