Naomi. I've never been a fan of Lucy

BackforGood · 29/08/2016 00:01

Naomi - but it depends on your surname / initials / other dc names / etc.

Naomi, by a long way!

OliveOrTwist · 29/08/2016 00:27

I like Naomi but how would you pronounce it? I would say Nay-Omi but I've also heard it pronounced Ni-Omi

CakeRattleandRoll · 29/08/2016 00:48

Naomi

Loyly · 29/08/2016 08:27

Definitely Naomi.

MrsGsnow18 · 29/08/2016 08:57

Naomi is my favourite of the two though.

I prefer Naomi but yes, there is the pronunciation thing. I know three, who all pronounce their name "nay-OH-mee", but who frequently get "NIGH-oh-mee" or "NAY-uh-mee", which can be a bit annoying.

Lucy is a nice enough name but a bit vanilla IMO; however, you shouldn't ever have any problems with the pronunciation of it so if you think that would bother you, I'd choose Lucy.

Dontrocktheboat · 29/08/2016 20:15

Naomi, but you will need to nail the pronounciation and be firm about it.

I find Lucy a bit dull.

user1471501988 · 29/08/2016 23:43

Lucy

Mausageandsash · 29/08/2016 23:47

Lucy

DramaAlpaca · 29/08/2016 23:48

Both lovely not helpful Grin

If I really, really, really had to pick I'd say Lucy, but in practical terms I guess it would depend on what goes best with the surname.

TheTartOfAsgard · 29/08/2016 23:50

I'm a Lucy.

I'd prefer to be a Naomi Grin
