*think

Noah is fine. Don't like Teddy. It's a very "soft" pairing...

PotatoBread · 28/08/2016 15:34

The names are fine individually but don't go together IMO

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 28/08/2016 15:37

Is that a bear?... Noah Teddy.

Lilaclily · 28/08/2016 15:37

Agree I prefer Noah Edward

In my view Ted/ Teddy are nicknames not names but that's just my opinion

HoratioNightboy · 28/08/2016 16:39

Sounds awfully twee to me. Sorry, OP.

user1471501988 · 28/08/2016 17:32

Noah Edwin

OlennasWimple · 28/08/2016 17:35

Noah is a hard name to pair, IMHO - ideally it needs a name beginning with a strong consonant to follow it, otherwise they all just blur together. Maybe not an issue, if you never really intend to use the full name other than formal occasions.

Having said that, I don't like "Noah Teddy", as I don't like Teddy full stop. Ted, maybe, Edward is better. "Edward Noah" is good, Ted for short?

YoungGirlGrowingOld · 28/08/2016 17:40

Teddy is a nickname. Noah Edward is okay.

MrsGsnow18 · 28/08/2016 17:40

Sorry OP I'm also not a fan of Teddy.
I like the above suggestion of Edwin though, that's a lovely name.

If you really like something though, don't be put off by the opinion of others!

crje · 28/08/2016 17:43

No aagghh Teddy !!!!

It doesn't work

RiverTam · 28/08/2016 17:44

I really like Teddy but I don't think this pairing goes, Edward would be better. Or Theodore.

Cozytoesandtoast00 · 28/08/2016 17:45

Just no.

Sandsnake · 28/08/2016 20:23

I quite like both names but I don't think they go together. Also, both names are very popular at the moment so I would probably look to pair Noah with something a little more timeless eg Noah Alexander, Noah James. Smile

candykane25 · 28/08/2016 20:26

Noah Theodore flows better.

Sophronia · 28/08/2016 23:37

It sounds like "know a teddy"

twinjocks · 29/08/2016 10:28

I don't like Noah but really like Teddy/Ted - great for child and adult imo.

roseteapot101 · 29/08/2016 10:38

teddy is the nickname for Theodore i think Noah Theodore is a nicer pairing

ohidoliketobe · 29/08/2016 10:42

Sophronia - oh yeah, I can't shake that now. 'I know a teddy bear. . . Blue eyes and curly hair.' Sorry OP.

I do like Teddy as a nickname but would go for full name e.g. Edward or Theodore.

CancellyMcChequeface · 29/08/2016 14:02

No, a teddy.

I only like Teddy as a nickname, and the combination with Noah doesn't sound right to me. Noah Edward?

bloodymaria · 29/08/2016 14:20

Have I got deja vu or have you posted this before op?

FrostyApple · 29/08/2016 20:45

bloodymaria - no, I haven't posted it before. Why?

OP posts:
GinIsIn · 29/08/2016 20:48

As PPs have said - Teddy is lovely, but it's a nickname for Edward or Theodore, not a name!

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 29/08/2016 20:53

Know a teddy? No I know a dolly.

Nope
