Wilfred

We want a name that means peace as DH's dad who recently died Dedicated his life to conflict resolution.

Wilfred means "peaceful ruler". There meaning is perfect.

We would probably use the nickname Freddie but would consider Wilf or Wilfie.

What do people think?

I also like your choice of Freddie as a nick name, instead of Wilf.
